Christmas in Williamsburg

The weekend before Christmas, my family headed to Williamsburg to spend two days with my aunt Elizabeth and cousin Charlene (and Charlene's boyfriend, Matt).  It was a BEAUTIFULLY warm weekend (highs in the 70's!) and we had a wonderful time walking around Colonial Williamsburg on Saturday!

Seeing these little elves on my aunt's Christmas tree brought back so many memories!  They used to belong to my grandmother and I remember seeing them at her house when I was a small child.

Church Outing

These pictures are from last November.  A bunch of my church family gathered on the Brennemans' farm where we cooked a huge vat of brunswick stew and enjoyed an evening of fellowship!

"Love Keeper" Film

These are long overdue, but here are some pictures from a short film I played a leading role in this Fall, called "Love Keeper."  I was frightfully miserable from the cold most of the time (wearing a thin summer dress for hours when the windchill is in the 30's will do that to you), but I really enjoyed the story and the people I got to work with.  

Here's the synopsis from the movie's Facebook page:

“Love Keeper” is a short romantic drama that explores the life of Kay Waters, a young woman with a devastating brain injury who struggles to remember her past and discover the meaning behind her nightmares. Under her father’s provision, Kay slowly recovers her health and memory, realizing she was the victim of a robbery attack and her fiancé, Jacob, died in the incident. Meanwhile, Liam Olson, an old flame of Kay’s, arrives to help Kay and win her heart in the process. As memories mix with the present and reality clashes with imagination, Kay battles to overcome the uncertainty of her relationship with Liam and find her identity.
