"Providence" in NYC!

Last month, I had the great privilege of being in New York City for the theatrical release of my latest film, Providence, on Times Square! It showed in the AMC Empire 25 for a week. I joined fellow actors Rich Swingle, Emily Knapp, Apolonia Davalos, and Jenn Gotzon for screenings the first two nights it was open, followed by a Q&A. We had a blast! And the audience really enjoyed the film!

So thrilled to see our movie on Times Square!

Providence also opened in AMC theaters in Atlanta, Los Angeles, Tulsa, Charlotte, Destin, and Jacksonville.

Providence has already won awards at film festivals, and has recently been nominated for more (including Best Actress for Juli Tapken who plays the adult version of my character, Best Director for Sharon Wilharm, and Best Picture!). To keep up to date on all the Providence news, like the Providence Facebook Page. You can also get general information about the film on their Official Website.

And as always, you can learn about all my films, watch trailers, see behind the scenes pictures, and get direct links to rent/buy them on my Official Website. I'd also love for you to join me on my Facebook Fan Page.

Starting My Own Business!

These last few months have been crazy busy! (Well, my life is always busy, but even more so now.)

In October 2015, I decided to start my own business. As in...a serious business. I've tried to earn extra income through sewing, photography, decorating wreaths, knitting, etc., but I was struggling to keep up with irons in so many fires, and barely getting a little pocket change every now and then. But now I've taken a huge step and started my own eCommerce business.

Basically, I'm sourcing a product from a supplier overseas (because I couldn't find one domestically) and selling my product on Amazon. This has been a huge investment of time and money, but I'm using a training course taught by millionaires who are sharing the proven model of business they use, and I am very excited about this opportunity. I'm my own boss, I set my own hours, I can work from anywhere I have wi-fi, and I can be earning a full-time income while working part-time hours. (Right now it's more than full-time hours, but that's part of the start-up process.) There are also endless possibilities for expansion as I add new products.

I named my company "Stacey's Bargains", and my first brand is called "Office-Ace".

This collage is from the snowy weekend I got my first inventory in the mail,
then processed it and shipped it to Amazon's warehouses.

So by now you're probably wondering what I'm selling. Well, using a proven method to identify good selling opportunities on Amazon, I decided to go with Cable Management Sleeves! Practical, useful, universal. They help keep your cords organized, concealed, and protected in any workspace in your home or office! You can learn more by reading my Amazon listing.

It's been thrilling to reach different milestones... First inventory order arrived. First sale on Amazon. First payment from Amazon. First international order.

I've been getting lots of great reviews of the product! A lot of people have never thought of the idea (I hadn't either!), but now I have customers saying they want to buy one for every room of the house.

Here are a few Before and After pictures:

I have established my own website through Shopify as another eCommerce platform where people can buy my product (although it is still fulfilled by Amazon). I also have several social media accounts for my business. My focus is to share motivational quotes, helpful tips and articles about getting organized and being more productive, as well as inspirational pictures of creative workspaces! Here are links where you can connect with my business:

A Snowy Valentines

We got quite a bit of snow on Valentines Day, so I borrowed Mom's rose and took some pictures. Here's my favorite...

And then Bonnie showed up so I snapped a few pictures of her, too.  :-)

The Devil's Marbleyard

This was an adventure quite unlike any other I've experienced! Last Fall, with a group of friends, I climbed a mountain of boulders called The Devil's Marbleyard (which was incredibly fun!), then looked out over this gorgeous view of the mountains. I was so glad I had lugged my DSLR along on the climb.

If you'd like to buy a print of any of these, they are for sale on Fine Art America. On that site, you can also add any of these pictures to notecards, cellphone cases, or other products.
