I still have tons of pictures to share from Michigan (if I ever find the time to finish editing them and get them uploaded!), but I'm going to take a brief intermission from that so I can share some recent pictures from my trip to Pennsylvania last weekend! That's right, last Tuesday I got home from 6 weeks in Michigan, and on Friday (after two days at home), I was headed to PA with my friend Michelle! It was crazy, but we had been wanting to go up for the "We Remember WWII" event at Historical Joanna Furnace for several years and this was the first year we were finally able to go. So we went! I was exhausted from 2 months of sleep deprivation, but I still had a great time! We dressed up, put our hair in pin curls (my first time trying that!), and took lots of pictures at the event.
It was so fun to see our friend Elisabeth, who was running the event. I had met her many, many years ago when she came down to VA for a pig roast that Michelle's uncle was hosting, and I had been wanting to see her again ever since. We were also able to meet up with my friend Josiah -- a filmmaker that I have gotten to know at the last two film festivals in San Antonio! He is a great photographer, and kindly took these first three pictures of me on Saturday night. The rest of the pictures are ones that Michelle took on Sunday afternoon. I had a lot of fun both modeling for the pictures and editing them afterwards! And of course, posing with the guns was the best part... ;-)

Thanks, Andrew! Yes, I have shot guns before. Not ones like these, though. I have fired a flintlock musket, a Glock handgun, a .22 rifle (I think), a skeet gun, a 45 revolver, and a Ruger (but I forget what caliber). I don't get to do it very often, but I love to shoot. :-)
Awww, thank you, Stephanie! I'd love to be in a 1940's style movie sometime. Especially if it was a musical. :-)
