Quick Update

  
[For those of you returning, I've been notified of a pretty strict lock-down, which is why some things have disappeared.]

I just want to say that no matter what happens, we can trust the Lord that He is allowing it to happen for a reason.  I know that He has been faithful to lead me in amazing ways (especially this summer), and He will never cease to be equally faithful.  When He closes doors, He will open other ones.

"For I know the plans I have for you, declares the LORD, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope. Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will hear you. You will seek me and find me, when you seek me with all your heart."  ~ Jeremiah 29:11-13

Part of God's exciting plan for me is already unfolding!  This year, I will have the amazing opportunity to attend the San Antonio Independent Christian Film Festival and Academy!  This is something I have dreamed of doing ever since they started the Festival about 6 years ago, but this is the first year I have had the opportunity, the money, and friends to go with!  God has been providing for this trip in many ways and it is clearly something He had planned for me.  I am so excited about everything I'm going to learn and all the new friends I'm going to meet while I'm down there!  (Not to mention that the cowgirl inside of me has always wanted to go to TX!)

In summation, I just want to give testimony to God's faithfulness.  Even when things happen that seem very negative and we can't see any good in the situation, never cease to trust that God is at work!  He never leaves or forsakes us, and His faithfulness is without end!
